Had very special stay during our visit and the weather was warm. We ate in the gorgeous restaurant within a short walk for dinner which was reasonably priced. The location was magnificent and incredible, just 5 minutes walk from The Museum of Modern Art. Moreover, the area was central. Loved the Irish bar.

If you want to be in the middle of Manhattan, the apartment is perfect. It has many subway lines within a two-minute walk that connect the entire island. Besides, you can walk to many tourist places like Rockefeller, TImes Square, Broadway... It may seem small but for what there is in New York it is perfect. We spent a week shopping in supermarkets and had breakfast and dinner every day. They also leave you coffee, sugar and tea, which they renew every day. That's nice. The replacement of the amenities was a little irregular and at some point we asked for something that was missing but in a short time we had it in the room. Another aspect that I value is that from 8 o'clock you can use the washing machines in the basement for very little price.
As you know, New York is the city that never sleeps and that's why we found out that one Friday they were doing construction work on the apartment door until 4 am, drilling.. yes, drilling the floor.. Despite being on the 7th floor, you could hear it a lot. And in spite of muffling the sound of the big apple, the windows stayed thin to stop that noise.. not that it is the fault of the apartments that there are works but that the windows are thin. Another one but it's also the noise of the air conditioning, quite annoying..

Location. location was impossible to better, being 1 minute from Broadway and many of the most significant buildings, spaces and monuments in Manhattan, as well as Central Park, so you could walk around without taking any transportation. In any case, it is very well communicated with the rest of New York since it was close to many subway and bus lines. We liked very much that they are not really apartments, an aparthotel, because it includes cleaning of the room and supply of coffee and tea daily for free. You also have the comfort of a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, stove and air conditioning, so you don't have to depend on restaurants or street food stands which is an advantage as food and drink in New York is very expensive, especially when you go with children with food intolerances. staff is very friendly and they all speak Spanish so it makes it easy for you to ask any questions you might have.
building in general needs an upgrade and a facelift as it is quite old-fashioned for a three star building. Door access is by key and very old locks, easily salvaged. We didn't have any problems, truth is that the doors didn't give much of a sense of security.

The location is perfect for visiting Manhattan, it is very convenient to have main tourist points that you can reach on foot and different subway stops to go to those further away. The fact that you can check in at any time in the morning made our arrival much easier, and when you check out your luggage is kept for you at no cost.
cleaning of the room should be in the morning; one day when we came back to eat they still hadn't done it, another day they didn't get around to it. There should be a smoke extractor in the kitchen so that all the smell doesn't stay in the room when cooking. As the room was a first and overlooked the inner courtyard, there was a lot of noise from all the air conditioning units in the building, lack of ventilation and natural light.
